  • Cambodian PM to Pay an Official Visit to Singapore

    Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Singapore from 18th to 19th June 2024.

  • Official Launch of "Orchids of Angkor Wat" Display at Gardens by the Bay

    On the morning of 17th May 2024, Cambodian Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Sok Khoeun, and Mr. Felix Loh, CEO of Gardens by the Bay, officially unveiled the "Orchids of Angkor Wat" display. About 200 guests attended this launch event, including ambassadors, diplomats, members of the Cambodian community in Singapore, and other distinguished foreign guests. H.E. Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and the Ministry of Social and Family Development of Singapore, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The display showcases a stunning replica of the Angkor Wat temple and sculptures representing Cambodia's ancient Khmer architecture, arts and culture as well as sculptures of diverse wildlife in Cambodia, including Asian elephant and the KouPrey, a rare forest ox, adorned with exotic Cambodian orchids. There were also Cambodian cultural performances, including the Cambodia’s traditional Moni Mekhala Dance and a performance with Cambodia’s one-string musical instrument, both in the morning and afternoon. The "Orchids of Angkor Wat" display will be open to visitors at Gardens by the Bay until 8 September 2024.   • Friendship Trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia

    The Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Singapore orchestrated a diplomatic tour from 20 to 22 April 2024, led by Lok Chumteav Mak Veasna, spouse of Ambassador Sok Khoeun, welcoming 13 foreign visitors (diplomats and spouses of diplomats) from the Republic of Korea, Chile, Turkey, Panama, Rwanda, Venezuela, Argentina, Italy and India to explore richness of Khmer cultural heritages in Siem Reap province. During the three-day journey, the foreign delegates visited various places and temples, including the Preah Norodom Sihanouk-Angkor Museum, Golden Silk Farm, Angkor Wat Temple, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm Temple, Banteay Srei Temple,  Khmer steamed palm cake making site in Preah Dak village and the night market. They also enjoyed watching circus performances by Phare Ponleu Selpak, leisurely boat rides to watch the sunset at Tonle Om, a memorable evening party hosted by the Embassy and enjoying the sunrise at Angkor Wat temple. The visiting guests expressed their appreciation for witnessing the grandeur of ancient Khmer temples, savoring Khmer cuisine, and experiencing the warm hospitality extended by the Cambodian Embassy staff in Singapore and the facilitation team in Siem Reap province.   • Business/Ordinary (Class-E) Visa

    This type of visa may be granted to foreigners who visit Cambodia for investment, employment, technical support, media, studying/training/internship or retirement purposes. Business / Ordinary (Class-E) Visa: - Single-entry visa (some passport holders from China, Japan and South Korea may apply for a multiple-entry visa with a validity of up to 3 years). - 3-month validity - Only 30-day allowable stay - Renewable after entry into Cambodia at Cambodia's General Department of Immigration. Who Can Apply: - Those owning businesses in Cambodia; - Those having accepted an employment/training/internship offer from Cambodia; - Those having received an invitation from a registered company/organization in Cambodia; - Those being sent to Cambodia for business /or media activity purposes by a registered company/organization/media outlet in Singapore; and - Those wishing to stay for an extended period or to retire in Cambodia. Application Requirements 1. Fill out the Visa Application Form ( Do it in advance if possible) - A completely filled and signed visa application form - (1 copy)​ - A photo (35x45 mm) recently taken within three months - (1 piece) 2. Actual Passport - Validity: more than six months balance at the time of entry - Visa page: at least 2 free pages for the visa sticker 3. Supporting Documents For investment, employment, technical support and studying/training/internship or media activity purposes: - An invitation letter from a registered company/institution/school/media outlet in Cambodia or in Singapore, certificate of incorporation, latest patent tax certificate and a business/media coverage schedule (if applicable); - A copy of passport bio-data page; - A copy of most recent Cambodian visa (if available). For long-term stay or retirement purposes: - A Retirement Reference Slip (if available); - Your Bank Statements for the past 6 months; - A copy of passport bio-data page; and - A copy of most recent Cambodian visa (if available). 4. Health Insurance (encouraged to purchase) - not compulsory. * Notice: - All applicants are required to personally come to the Embassy to apply for visas without prior appointment.   • Visa Class-A , B and C

    Diplomatic (Class-A) Visa: - Multiple-entry visa (Gratis) - Visa sticker's validity: 3 months - Duration of stay: 3 months Official (Class-B) and Courtesy (Class-C) Visas: - Single-entry visas (Gratis) - Visa sticker's validity: 3 months - Duration of stay: 3 months Extension of stay: Visa A, B and C are renewable after entry into Cambodia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Who Can Apply: - Visa A: Those holding diplomatic passports and travelling to Cambodia for official purposes or Diplomats (may include their family members) whose missions are assigned by their respective Embassies/Institutions in Singapore. - Visa B: Those travelling to Cambodia for official purposes (holding official or service passports, UN/EU Laissez-Passer) and their missions are assigned by Foreign Embassies/International Organizations in Singapore or in Cambodia. - Visa C: Those holding ordinary passports and having received an invitation/a job or employment offer from a registered organization that has a valid MoU with the Cambodian government/Ministries. - Passport holders from some countries/territories may not need to apply for visa A and visa B.     This visa is issued to foreigners who enter Cambodia for private, tourism and sightseeing purposes. Tourist (Class-T) Visa: - Single-entry visa (Some passport holders from China, Japan and South Korea may apply for a multiple-entry visa with a validity of up to 3 years). - Visa sticker's validity: 3 months - Duration of stay allowed: 30 days - Renewable after entry into Cambodia for another 30 days only at Cambodia's General Department of Immigration. Who Can Apply: - General travelers with tourism purposes. - Passport holders from some countries/territories may not need to apply for a tourist visa. Click here to learn more.   • Ambassador Sok Khoeun and Spouse attend President’s Annual Diplomatic Reception 2024

    HE Ambassador Sok Khoeun and Madam Mak Veasna, along with other Heads of diplomatic and consular missions, and representatives of international organisations to Singapore, attended the President’s Annual Diplomatic Reception (PADR), hosted by Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, and his spouse Mrs Jane Ittogi Shanmugaratnam, on 20 March 2024 at the Istana. Prime Minister HE Lee Hsien Loong, other Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament and Senior Officials also attended the event.
